Create and edit a work item

Add a job by hand on the board, as a paired pickup and drop-off, or with the requirements a driver must meet.

Creating a job

On the board choose New job. Give it a title, pick the address from the suggestions (that is what places it on the map and lets routing measure to it), set the scheduled window and priority, and add the customer's name and contact if you want them notified.

The fields the form shows depend on your operation profile: a courier sees package count and barcode, a parts runner sees order / RO references, a furniture operation sees assembly and haul-away fields. Those come from your industry preset; change the profile in Dispatch → Settings → Operation profile.

Paired pickup and drop-off

For work that has to be collected and then delivered, create a pair: two linked jobs whose drop-off cannot be completed before its pickup. Pickup-and-drop-off presets default to pairs; other presets offer it as an option.

Requirements

A job can require skills and vehicle capacity (weight, volume, pallets). Assignment checks those against the driver's skills and vehicle; see 'Assign, reassign and unassign'.

Editing

Open the job's drawer to change details. Status changes are recorded with who made them and when; completed work keeps its original snapshot of the industry fields.
